Frequently Asked Questions What kinds of problems can the EAP help me with? WorkLife Solutions can help you with personal, family and work-related problems. We are available to you and your family to discuss everything from “life’s little challenges” to more serious concerns. The sooner you address your issues, the more likely you will be to find creative solutions to improve your situation. Our national provider network offers many convenient office locations and a choice of counselors with a broad range of specialized expertise.
Is there a cost to use the EAP? Through an arrangement with your employer, you are eligible to receive a specific number of counseling sessions at no cost to you. Please call us at 800-941-8512 to find out the number of sessions for which you are eligible. Once you use these sessions, you may continue your counseling with the same provider on a fee-for-service basis or by using other behavioral heath insurance benefits, if available.
Who is eligible to use the EAP? You and your benefit eligible dependents may use the EAP.
What is not covered by the EAP? Although a counselor/EAP provider may make recommendations for a psychiatric evaluation or for psychological testing, these services are not covered under the EAP contract. An employee must make arrangements to pay for these services separately or use other behavioral health insurance benefits, if available.
Will you keep my information confidential? Any information that you share with your EAP counselor is kept confidential. We will not release information to your employer or to anyone unless you sign a release of information to do so or if the law requires disclosure.
